You caught something wrong

Send us the URL, the claim, and the correction. If you have a primary source, include it and we'll verify against it. Every factual correction gets a dated note in the article itself and an updated dateModified in the structured data. We don't silently overwrite; we show our work.

You have source material

Photographs from the Crane Creek era, WWII shipyard records, Eau Gallie city documents, merger-era ephemera from the 1969 referendum. If you have something in a drawer or a filing cabinet that belongs in the historical record, we want to hear about it. Attribution is required; we'll work with whatever license terms the material carries. We don't publish without it.

You work with local collections

The Brevard County Historical Commission, the Melbourne Public Library's Florida Room, the Henegar Center's institutional files, and the FIT archives all hold material we've drawn on and material we haven't found yet. If you work with any of those collections or know someone who does, an introduction would mean more to us than most things.

What we can't help with

Current venue booking at the Henegar Center, city permit questions, or property records from either Melbourne or Eau Gallie. Those live with the city and county, not with us.

We read everything. Most responses within a week.
